Draper, Utah – May 14, 2007– NextPage today announced that its award-winning, flagship product, NextPage Document Retention, was named a finalist in the Best New Product or Service in Computer Software category for The 2007 American Business Awards. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in over 40 categories.
NextPage Document Retention is an innovative business solution designed to help companies reduce the risk of managing documents on the desktop. NextPage’s document retention tool is the only application that securely tracks document versions across e-mail, hard drives, removable media and servers, providing an audit trail to users about all document versions so they can purge working copies and post final versions to a central server for archival and lifecycle management.
The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. Winners will be announced at the 2007 awards dinner and presentations in New York City's Marriott Marquis Hotel on Monday, June 11. More than 800 executives from across the U.S. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be videocast on the Internet and broadcast on radio.
“Being named a finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”
“This year has been filled with great accomplishments made possible by the diligence and dedication of all our employees at NextPage,” said Darren Lee, president and chief executive officer of NextPage. “The success of Document Retention is a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and this recognition is an honor and tribute to the hard work demonstrated throughout the year. We look forward to the outcome and wish the best of luck to all the companies in our category.”
